Clutch number 2
Aaarrggghhh I don't seem to have the best of luck with clutches for the Honda,
Basically I fitted an act street clutch kit/flywheel when I went supercharged.then went turbo and it fried itself(prob did no more than 1500miles)so I replaced it with an act 6 puk clutch kit/flywheel,and it starts chirping when I release the clutch,I'm guessing it's the release bearing :-( then it starts juddering aswell as chirping, not only that, but when I was at a jap meet on Tuesday,I reversed up hill to park and the whole car started juddering and sounded nasty, was a bit embarrassing to be honest,
The thing that has really peeved me off is...the clutch has done less than a 1000miles.
And I don't do standing starts.
Now the next prob is to find out why my s2000 eats clutches for breakfast.
Rant over haha

No it's not slipping, but when it was fitted it behaved like a normal clutch.no judder no chirping.until recently.
I've read that the act release bearing can be dodgy, and that most use the oe release bearing.
I'm gonna give the car a good looking over when the pit is free.as when I was reversing that juddering wasn't normal.it was as if something was trapped under the car, gonna check all the mounts etc.not that they should be knackered as there all hardrace and done around 4000miles.

My twin plate was like oe to start but now in reverse it judders and makes a horrible noise. Just part of having a high power capacity clutch that is a small diameter.

Strange mine full ACT HDSS kit has been fine mate (using stock flywheel).
I'm not using stock flywheel, although that shouldn't cause any probs.
