Clutch bleed issues

Can you gravity bleed a clutch? I had great success on brakes

I began with that, then I remembered I have the vaccum tool, i can try it tomorrow. It just doesn't make sense to me how it looses pressure once the pedal hasn't been touched for about 20-30seconds

The bleed nipple isn't exactly at the top, so yes you can get air in - you can take the slave off and orientate the nipple to the top but don't let the piston push itself out ( which it will try and do)

And air would explain why it looses pressure if I leave the pedal alone for a little bit?

Definitely this. K series Honda setups suffer a similar problem. Virtually impossible to do a good bleed with the slave in situ. I find removing it and making it the highest point in the system/high as you can (clamp the piston) does the trick.
