Default Clutch ajustment

My clutch biting point is a little too high for my liking. Is this a sign that the clutch is quite worn?

Is it an easy job for Honda to ajust (

It's hydrolic. There is no adjustment.
High clutch means worn usually.

My old clutch was so worn that I could slowly lift the pedal with the car stationary in 6th, and it wouldn't move.

On the other hand, a lot of people on here have high biting-points and don't have any real trouble for ages.

Cheers all.

Hmmmmm- to be honest, I'm not sure how high it is compared to how it should be? What level should it be in comparison with the brake pedal?

Hi mate - thanks.

I think you've just highlighted the fact that I MIGHT be talking rubbish. My biting point is about the same I believe... (is that good?)

Can I start again...

1) I would like my clutch pedal to sit at the same height at my brake pedal!? Presumably there's no way to change this?

2) And if I got a new clutch, would it sit at the same height? (with a lower biting point)

3) Does anyone know what the biting point would be with a new clutch?

I believe that the hydraulic clutch is self adjusting, so there is no way of doing it yourself.

As long as your clutch isn't slipping (try flooring it in 4th from about 20mph) and doesn't judder horrendously on take up then dont go throwing any money at it just yet!

Thanks - i'll try that.

Can a garage ajust the clutch pedal height then?
