Well today i had my first scare in the S!The road was wet but the sun was out. I came off a roundabout and hit the pedal I was thinking going into the bend its going to kick out but yet i never backed off, the ass totally went on me and i was facing into a car in slow lane i oppisite locked and she came around and done the same again eventually she straightend up for me.I honestly thought i rubbed off car in slow lane i don't know how i missed him! Its opened my eyes big time to hitting vtec in a bend in the wet!!!I didn't go over 4k the whole way home!Thank god i can look back and say i have learned my lesson without any damage others haven't been as lucky i'd say! Have many people had simular experiences?

gotto be careful in the wet, but yes that does happen. my advice is check the wear on the rear tyres.

since your car is a MY01, have you done any GEO? i bought mine to Chris @ Center Gravity and my car totally feels different afterwards. Now it has so much grip on the road its amazing.

Had a couple of interesting moments on a straight damp road with VTEC.

I don't do it now.

One can VTEC in the wet, even out of corners.

But one must pay absolute attention to the road surface and what the rear tyres are saying to you at all times. You will be feathering the throttle, not nailing it to the floor.

And the tyres must be properly warm and in good condition.
