Default Clifford 600 and windows

Hi all.

Had the Clifford Concept 600 installed over a week ago, what a system!!!!

Anyway, I noticed a few posts regarding the driver window that seems to come down after you send it up automatically.

It seems strange, but when I lock the car and the windows go up automatically, they close fine.

Anybody know if there is a fix for this? Should I take it back to the installer and ask them to have a look?

Later.

Lee.

Yup! You are right LeeG2002 - the window up closure works fine when you set the alarm BUT when you are in the car and you use the one touch up operation - the window will go up and then come down halfway! The one touch down seems to work fine though.

It's something to do with the relay in the motor which can't be accessed blah blah blah.

I don't mind - I prefer the auto window up instead of the one touch up.

Lee,

I think it's a known problem - something to do with the Japenese electronic brain of the car.

I've had mine for over 3 yrs now.

I let the Clifford close the windows when I arm the alarm, and I only use the 'one-shot' to open the window, not to close it, because as you've no doubt noticed, if you use the 'one-shot' to close the window, it will go into 'vent' mode, and come back half way down again.

I can live with this minoe problem.

I contacted both the Honda dealer & the Clifford fitters, but the only solution at that time was to disconnect the alarm from closing the windows.

Clearly this hasn't been fixed !!

HTH

N4S,

S20HDA is not me I'm afraid - I'm 139 BSM, hence my S2K handle of BSM139

(In case you're wondering - BSM are my initials and my S2000 was 'born' via DVLA on 13th September)

Hope to spot you sometime & say hello in person

Bharat

I have the Clifford and had the problem with the window dropping back when putting it up myself.

Worked fine with the alarm closure tho.

My Honda dealer fixed it, said that it something to do with the pressure setting, when the clifford is fitted is cocks this setting up.

I've just had a concept 500 fitted with no window probs at all. Maybe they've fixed it?
I did loose the 'onetouch' feature for a couple of days but it seems fine now

Scrooger,

Can you PM me with more details - I can then take this up with my dealer.

Thanks
Bharat
