Clicking from rear diff...
I noticed last night when reversing on full lock into a side road that there were a couple of CV like clicks from the rear wheel and when I pulled forward there was a slighter louder click and then all was well...
I pulled into local empty carpark and proceeded to drive in circles slowly in reverse then forwards (to which a bunch of kids came over on their bikes and proceeded to mock my driving LOL) and I could replicate the click. It only happens when going from reverse to forward and vice versa...
She only makes a couple of clicks in either direction and then goes quiet. I gave her a little B road blast and then returned to the carpark and the problem wasn't there this time...
I have plenty of oil in the rear diff but I don't know how old it is or what grade. I'm going to change the gearbox and diff oil this weekend but is there anything else I should look out for? Is this a sign that the diff is about to 'have a cow'?
Thanks,
Mark
EDIT: looking through the site I've seen a lot of referance to this axle nut problem. I take it it's just the castle nut that needs nipping up?
Or possibly a CV joint failure?

Have checked all them and they still seem nice and tight with little or no damage to the bush itself... Must be the nut... will give it a go this weekend but I need to get a torque wrench to do it properly...
Also gonna get the car booked in to get the Geo done as i've just fitted Toyo proxes T1-R's all round and want to look after them :-)
Thanks for the advice guys!! T'is a great forum this :-)
