Default Cleaned up plug cover

No work today so I've been giving the S a check up, nothing else to do so I got out the wet & dry and went over the lettering on the plug cover, wish I'd taken a pic before as it was minging, but very happy with the result. Only thing now is how do I stop it corroding again? Is there a high temp satin lacquer out there?

Did you just use wet and dry ?

Mine was in a state. I used Autosol with some wet and dry and it came out pretty good but not that damn good !

because wet and dry gives a better finish with less affort mate, done this to my b16 cover on my del sol and will be doing mine again soon,

agree with the wd40 or clear cote it to seal it in mate

Garage-R did the business for me!

On an eight year old car the original finish was flaking off. Rob did a great job

Looks fantastic - did you put it in the dishwasher afterwards to make sure there were no nasties left behind?

No dishwasher, the Missis was around! And only wet and dry from medium grades to finest then flushed it with alcohol, will try WD40 to keep it sweet.
