wash, 3/4 run over with clay (rear quarter was sprayed recently, so no need for claying), and SRP = around 3 hours for me.
You should absolutely have done the part that was recently sprayed, the panels will be full of ingrained dust from the shop, this is one of the jobs clay was designed to remove; i.e. overyspray. IMO you should spend an hour next chance you get use the clay on the remainder of the car, and let us see some pics!

Mine doesn't get it either Orangina is the only girly that I think understands it. Glad I'm getting a big garage now though (and my new car is black).
Fackinel Danny, first a white car and now a black one, you like to keep yourself busy on the detailing side fella!

Yeah but a white car when it's clean just looks like a clean white car, a black car on the other hand looks unbelievable.

Make sure the clay has been kneaded well so its soft and keep folding it over so you don't rub any contaminants over cleansed paint.

Danny, orangina appreciates a clean car, she also knows how easy it is to maintain once prepped properly.

AFAIK you don't specifically have to use lube or detailing spray when you use a clay bar. A misting bottle full of water does the trick as well. I could be wrong though.
Be very careful, the claybar should glide. You should also hear it picking up contaminants. Water is rarely enough. Try a little car shampoo if you are on a budget but be careful. Some claybars will swell up with the wrong lube.
