Neil I hate to say it but your post makes it sound like the fault of this bump was the neighbours. Was the Vitara parked legally and stationary at the time?

If so then there is only one culprit. Sorry but them's the facts.

You must have missed this bit of my post

So it's ultimately her fault, fair enough,
Yes it was our fault, but his vehicle is parked in a way that makes it difficult, but not impossible to get on our drive. It makes it a 5 or 6 point turn instead of 3. I've asked him to move it and he continues to park it there even though he has his own empty driveway. Which in my book makes him an inconsiderate bastard.

BTW Lloyds Honda were really good about it. They're going to put a bumper on at cost and send me the bill. Should be much less than

Might I suggest a 4WS Prelude?

I discovered on Sat. night, that I'd parallel parked in a gap 8" longer than the car.

That'd piss off your obviously attention-seeking neighbour.
