Trust me when I say I drive my car very hard.
But I have never experienced brake fade on the public highway on this car.
Steve,

I am confident on my pads/discs being shot

Some new discs and ds2500 pads will probably put paid to road fade

Pretty much agree with that.

I think im going to source a lower rear brace, IIRC that helps the tighten up and back and reduce the jumping over unsettled, bumpy roads?
No, only lighter wheels (or Nitron dampers!) do that.

The rear brace makes the rear breakaway point far easier to judge. You wouldn't think it, but it does.

Never had brake fade on the pubic highway.

I suspect newer OEM pads have more meat to dissipate the heat. Especially true of the rear ones, which can overheat when thin and cause the fronts to over-brake. Four new pairs on good disks anc unseized calipers should fix it.

It's interesting all this talk of debadging the wings, mine came with no badges and it looks (to me) like there's something missing.

Shhhh, I'm already missing them I cleared out my garage rafters this morning and all I have left is one OEM shock, the air guide (as I have the Garage Defend CF plate), the OEM gear knob, the OEM numberplate surround, the OEM rear lower brace, a half shaft bucket and the OEM stereo speakers. I can't see me swopping any of that onto the car until I'm ready to part company with it!

Thanks for the input guys - looking at doing pretty much everything on the list.

Can anyone tell me the difference in performance between my 00 s and the new rev1,2,3 editions in terms of handling as I read something suggestion they are more stable?

I presume this is what the chassis mods will imrpove?

Ill get some photo's up once i get some parts put on!

It's weird how the rev 3 settings are now the closest to Rev 1 (Spring, damper, ARB thickness).

Chassis wise, remains the same.
