Default Cheap OEM spark-plugs and oil for high mileage

My S will be due it's 108k service in March.

I assume it's possible to save a packet on spark plugs by providing my own? Where can I get OEM plugs cheap?

I also don't care for the Castrol SLX which they use at my dealers for S2000s/type Rs. I think it's far too thin and my cars all drink the stuff. Has anyone any recommendations for oil for a high mileage S engine? (Currently 97k)

Neil IHMO with high mileage engines i would use thicker oil because of the clearances, so castrol edge 5w30 or amsol 10w30.

I use edge 5w30 and its fine, i might try amsol when i next change my oil.

All Fully synthentic.

P.S shame i wasnt closer, i'd of changed oil/filter for you for free

Thanks for the offer, but I don't mind paying Lloyds.

I get plenty back in return - they inspected the ITR for free for me last week

motogp1 Thanks for the link - what brand does Honda use as OEM

Really? Don't think I would use Halfords own brand oil to be honest.

(Although I'm not sure why )
