Changing Headlight Bulbs
Hi All
I have got the orignal headlight bulbs in my car and I think they are starting to get old as they dont seem as bright as they used to be.
I am looking at replacing my Original HIDsbut what is the best way to do this? can I replace just the bulbs with aftermarket ones or is it a full ballast + bulb job?
I want to get some 8k ones so there is a slight blue tint to them
comments welcome

It might not be the bulb.
It could be the lens of the light has been scratched and dulled after years of being hit by stones and grit.
There are a few products around that you can use to restore a smooth finish to the lens, I've not used any myself so I can't recommend one but google should give you many options.

Stock 4300K with a slight yellow tint to them.
5000K white, with just a hint of blue to them (hardly any blue though)
6000K white with blue
8000K blue/purple
9000K purple
Anything above 4300K results in a decrease in light performance, IIWU go with 5000K i found this to be the best compromise but IMHO i think it will be un-desirable to you.
