ch3tman's Rio Yellow Pearl S2000

Chet's car has a significant history. Having enjoyed the pics here I glanced through the Brooklands Books Performance Portfolio on the S (www.brooklandsbooks.com) and saw a familiar car...
(posted with Chet's permission...)
Surely that's his car in EVO 67, March 2004? Why yes it is!
I think this really adds something to the ownership experience - "my car's been in EVO!" Chet has a bit of S history! Nice one.
I remember this article when it came out. It's in the "Driven" section, prompted by the 04 revisions, and is a very positive read.
I thought the S looked fantastic and it's testament to these cars that that the same motor looks lovely 6 years on.
Anyone else got a "published" car out there?
Dave.

The Evo thing is cool
Cars still good Chet, enjoying my second summer (well hopefully the start!) much more than the first given that I'm now that bit more confident I can predict what the car will do next - hopefully

Many thanks to Dave for pointing out my car appeared in Evo Magazine - I had no idea !!
Naturally I will now be hunting for a copy of that Evo release, shouldn't be too hard .
Bharat then PM'd me with his find - my car on Evo's website:

I'm getting good at this - the now defunct Peformance Car mag tested the 08 revision early on.
This is that car...

I need to get out more! Anyone else got a car that's been published?

Thought my thread deserves another little update, as I've recently had the RaceLogic Traction Control solution installed.
Whilst this seems to be a very popular location for most owners/installations:
I didn't want mine on show, with it being the version without a digital display, there really was not any need either . So I went with this:
Planning to get a new set of rear tyres fitted, then I'm all set for winter. Oh, apart from an MOT, and possibly new discs/pads .
If it stays dry this weekend the hardtop will also be fitted back on!
The car has just stepped over34,100 34,350 miles with the highlight of the summer being a trip down to Sandbanks !
