Well, the 5th year of ownership has started in the best possible fashion - the MOT took place this morning…
Passed with flying colours once again, with zero advisories. I really don't think I'll ever own a car as reliable as this!

Wow nice one, shame you didn't take the photo at 5 o'clock
and at 50 mph at 5000 rpm.
The thought crossed my mind for a split second but I wouldn't risk that .

I've used Event Tyres several times over the past 5 or so years; they seem to have a good reputation .

Nice one for the MOT.

I need to replace my brake pads now and have my MOT in a few weeks... It's way too cold to work on the car

Thanks WinFreak .

Agree, it's way too cold for that. Especially if you come up against an unexpected gremlin... like a stuck disc/hub screw which we both know all about . If you need a set of pads to get you through the MOT just let me know as I've got my partially worn Honda/OEM ones (see post #139 in this thread) that we took off during the summer .

Put simply, this wonderful machine has been the best, and most reliable, car I have owned to date .

Many thanks to all S2Ki community members for the help and tips along the way, much appreciated .

The end of an era!

This PistonHeads article was thrown my way recently:

"Honda S2000: Catch it While You Can"
http://www.pistonheads.com/news/ph-japanesecars/honda-s2000-catch-it-while-you-can/33186

...and it certainly made me reminisce about this wonderful car I let go back in Spring 2014....

Sorely missed, even my wife claims it was/is her favourite car It was such a clean example! Whilst I know it went to a good home I was hoping to see more pics of it on this forum!

For those reading who own one, keep hold of it!

I did read your ownership thread when I was looking to buy one after joining the S2KUK & S2KI clubs late October, and did have a read through that PH article. As such, I can understand your sentiments......

As luck would have it I managed to acquire a 2006 example in exactly the same colour that had 2 owners and covered 15,600 miles from new. That one too had been cared for by its previous owner of 7 years.

Do you think you will be back in another?
