looks beautiful in yellow! i desparately wanted one after my last yellow car but proved too hard to find a good example with hardtop and AP2

And, as WinFreak mentions, all UK cars are technically AP1...
AP2 refers to the American variant with the 2.2 litre engine, all our cars are AP1 and 2.0.
AP1/AP2 is an engine designation not a model/year identifier .

. ..Apologies!
More so as I've had this last week off work and having just looked, believe the last Surrey/Middx run was also this week - oops!!
I shall keep an eye out for future ones

Well, the car enjoyed its 63k service in September, once again at Chiswick Honda, (minus the fuel filter as we all discussed here: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/979269-63k-service-at-honda-fuel-filter/ ), despite it having covered a fraction over 40k...
...and its just passed its MOT today - once again with flying colours & zero advisories .
The car is simply a pleasure to own and drive . I also envisage I'll be on the road significantly more often in 2013 so perhaps I'll see some of you around .

Thanks for the kind compliment, Cali .
As a general update, the car has now ticked over to ~43.5k, it's no longer just a weekend car and is being used more often during the weekdays , as I alluded to in my December post up there ^.
In light of this, I took the S2000 to see Tom at TGM Sport for a general health check last month; wanting to make sure everything is in good shape, giving him a chance to analyse the car and uncover any bits and bobs that may need attention. I went in the early morning, so that in case there was a labour intensive task required, he could work on it throughout the majority of the day.
To my delight, having given the car a test drive and an inspection on up the ramps, Tom concluded there were no abnormalities and no work required. Everything as it should be . He could've easily fleeced me at this stage but showed great integrity and honesty , in line with comments from others on this forum. I'll definitely be visiting him for work as and when needed in the future.
The car has its own garage to live in now, which is a major bonus and something I've always wanted . I'll try to get some pics up once the weather improves!

A little update - with the car sitting on 44.7k miles, the car was treated to it's next scheduled service, the 72k .
Unfortunately, this was also my first negative experience with Honda's self proclaimed "European flagship" dealership, Chiswick Honda. The car has only ever been to them since first registered so they know me and the car well. I've written about the experience in more detail [HERE]... in summary : .
A few very poor iPhone photos in from recent sunshine:
However the biggest disappointment, in addition to the level of customer service at Chiswick Honda, was what I found on the bonnet when I returned to the car. More on that [HERE].
These things happen, and are part and parcel of owning a car. However, with my wedding in 2 weeks, it's come at a particularly stressful time!

Thanks Ian; ex-Honda Master Techs like Jimmy will certainly be seriously considered for future work alongside the likes of specialist garages like TGM .
