CEL light

Default CEL light

Help needed guy's. Been on a 250 mile round trip today and was getting low on fuel, but there was no super so i put in normal unleaded, i then drove off and the CEL light come on!!! i've not got the code, but was wondering if that has happened to any of you guys? Sorry forgot to mention i have installed a decat also

Have you put an exhaust on it?

Has the light gone off after some more driving, or is it still on?

Did you put the filler cap back on properly - if it doesn't go back on all the way this can throw a CEL.

Check that, drive a few miles and see if it goes off.

You wouldn't get a CEL from putting regular unleaded in it.

My guess is that Badger's sabotaged it out of spite.

Good idea, that could be it as i was in a rush, i'm going to check it now

Was tight, bugger!!! did notice that when i rev it, on the wind down there is a click from under the bonnet and the light flickers!!! think i need a code reader!
