CEL light
hi guys i got a CEL yesterday. stuck a paperclip into the service plug and found my EPS light flashing code 22 and my ABS light flashing codes 51 and 61. i found out that EPS code 22 has something to do with the VSS (vehicle speed sensor).
i tried to reset my ecu by removing the back up fuse, and disconnecting the battery. it just keeps coming back. help...

Hmm, weird.
When I was first doing the same, I noticed the EPS flashing etc. but didn't really investigate further. When I fixed the CEL issue, the light never came back.
Had you done any mods before the light came on?

one of the front ABS sensors i think???
Try pulling firm (but not yank so it breaks) on the front abs wires, they are prone to wear out on the bit between the sensor and the upper suspension arm. With a firm pull you can feel the rot within the cable...
Or plug a digital ohms meter into the cable (Orange connectors in the front of the inner wings), spin the wheel very slowly and you will see the resistance go up and down, known as the hall effect. If you get no reading then it is f... i mean broke.
You can repair them if it is wires, cut close to the sensor and simply re-wire it. Its not dangerous, if you get it wrong the light will stay on thats all.
You need to get it on a scanner to get a true reading, paperclips test dont tell all..
Dont go to Main Stealer, look for a garage with a Snap-on Scanner, I know this can do everything on an S2K and it will be much cheaper.
Just get the codes from them, then do it yourself.
PM me if you get stuck or look at

I found the paper clip method to be useless, a proper scanner is what you need mate. I think shorting out pics on the connector only works on certain cars, US ones seem fine.
