Injector blockages worry me.
Seems to be another far too common issue on the S2000.
I still cant see a reason why it couldnt lead to an engine failure due to effectively making a cylinder lean.

Swapped all 4 injectors last night.
Hopefully everything is okay .. he's not called me since
Will wait to see if the CEL comes back now.

Exciting news is that without resetting the CEL or ECU myself, the light didn't come on this morning.
I'm not assuming it's fixed just yet, but in two drives after the change the ECU has decided all is good so that's good news however you look at it!
Thanks Ben!

veehexx...the ECU compensates via the Air/fuel ratio...it's not sophisticated (or quick) enough to compensate on individual cylinders (I'd like to see an engine that could!). So chances are it is just one cylinder that's the problem.
each injector has a flow rate rating which you tap this code into the ECU via diagnostic kit. no way around it, HAVE to have it programmed in otherwise it runs like you got serious misfire!
obviously not got to jap engines yet, which also makes injector changing a DIY job.
glad to see it sorted! i wonder what causes these injector issues. bad batch or fuel or what?
