To be honest it's the chance of losing my licence through outright ban or totting up that makes me watch my speed....
The system works then.....

speeding is NOT a criminal offence. its a tax.
Keep telling your self that.

It is an offence, perhaps a misguided out of date one that has in some areas looked at money generation rather than safety, but yes it is an offence, punishable by a court of law !!

it IS a criminal offence! i read somewhere it was some kind of civil offence or somert.. how ridiculous?

so a toff can run around in the country with a shotgun popping caps off at random pheasants (and peasants) but if I do more than 30 on me pushbike i'm up sh1t street?

if speeding is criminal you should get the feckin death penalty for something like burglary (you should anyway). This all blew up cos Tony <feckin> Blair said 'lets incentivise the local police to fine more people so we can swell our coffers.. i mean so we're safer.. errr'.. the tool.

if i ever see him wandering down my road i'm gonna run the fvcker over at 140mph and then p1ss on his still twitching corpse.

OOPS! Sorry to hear that mate. I must admit when I got my nip I put my hand up and took the 3 points and the fine. I'm with you on that one, I was speeding so I'll take the punishment.

I'd still ask for the Calibration certificate and a picture of your car, if only for your own amusement!
