Cue the anti-cat brigade

Seriously though would have though any damage an animal (unless it's a deer horn or summat) would polish out quite easily.

Ive just had someone clean my car after having dropped the sponge.

They cleaned the entire car! :-(

However, whilst machining and taking it to various garages locally (guernsey) and even our local Honda dealers who had a go at it too, they all claimed the scratchs were too deep. Until i went to a paint specialist - cost me

Where's Gaddafi? I'm sure he'd have something to say on the subject

Perhaps a visit to Tangoman is in order? I know he's a bit far away, but he is a pro at this.

Do you have a proper polisher?? We used the Meguiars on JJ's Focus which had a lovely long scratch down the back wing - not sure if deliberate or a kid on a bike . All came out apart from a small amount at one end.

No just Megs polishing pads, I've successfully polished out a scratch down the side of the car made by a twig before.

I had the same, my bonnet was virtually swirl-free after many hours. And a cat left paw-shaped scratches down it a few wks ago.
