Default CAT1 Alarm User Manual

Hi guys,

Can anybody provide a copy (PDF, BMP, something) of the Cat 1 Alarm user Guide.
I bought the car (Jun'00) second hand, but it came with no info on the alarm.

I've returned to the car on a few occasions to find the Red LED flashing a code sequence at me when I've switched off the alarm.

I realise this is probably trying to tell me that the alarm was tripped... probably the Wind setting off the Internal Sensors.

Much appreciated

Can one of you send me a PDF copy of the manual. I'd love to know what the alarm's beeps and flashing LED signifies. Cheers

Dave, thanks for the .pdf copy.

(Glennyboy, like he says you need to send astage a PM with your email address).

Reading it was helpful and I posted on one of the recent alarm/tracker threads that, after careful thought, I decided not to push Honda on warantee given the Honda UK's CAT1 unreliable boot opening but to use the CAT2.

If you search on 'horse' 'dead' and 'flogging' you should find what I said and my reasoning - like a lot of old people I frequently repeat myself without realising it but am too far gone to remember accurately what I said the first time (IYSWIM !)

Cheers,
Rog

arsie: You're welcome! Believe it or not, last week I got the boot opening to work three days after the alarm had been set.

Glennyboy: You have a PM.

To All: If somebody knows how, can they tell me if and how I could make the PDF available on s2ki.

Well no but I know a man who can. PM to one of the US gurus such as cthree, Krazik or HondaGal for inclusion in the library. Yes, it's a Honda UK thing but they're an open-minded ace set of geezers

shoot...I didn`t even know you COULD open the boot from the remote (or try to!). I`ve just read my little cat1 guide that came with the car.

I`ll try that tomorrow.
