Im currently in the same situation. Honda warranty or should I more correctly say guarantee, want an MoT test. If it passes they will turn down the claim. A friend had one go on his 07 car, with no extended warranty last week. He argued the toss with HUK and they fitted him a new one at half price.......still a shed load of dough though!!! Im still under "warranty" and will put them to the sword. Customer relations are the guys to call, wing and cry at them and see what it does for you.

Alternatively I have a Berk HFC which is a couple of months old to fit if all else fails.

Berk High Flow from S2ktuning FTW - fitted mine about three weeks ago as my cat core was rattling around - zero issues, service was excellent.
