Carpet Removal/General Advice
Hi guys,
I'm new to the Forum, having just bought a Jap Spec '99 S2K with the black half leather interior.
I've always wanted an S2000, and a drunken night on Ebay saw me purchase one somewhat prematurely! My previous car was a Mk1 Eunos Roadster (MX5), a great handling machine, but seriously lacking in power and comfort.
I have sourced used red leather seats and carpet for a really good price, and will be fitting them myself. Has anyone got some advice on removing the existing carpet? Anything specific I need to remove etc? The seats should be easy, just a few nuts and bolts.
I'm pretty hands on with my cars, and will be doing most of the servicing myself. Are there any items like HT leads/plugs/filters I should replace as a matter of course?
Matt

Having just seen clarkson's vid about the S, Elise and BMW, more specifically his comment about 55-65 seconds, I'm very happy with my purchase.
I can't wait to pick the car up next week! I've got red/black door cards too...should be simple to fit.

Oh, and before the mods get here. Join up to the s2kuk club for discounts on everything you could ever want for the S. Then join the S2ki membership to help keep the forums alive. There is an almost infinite wealth of knowledge on this site. Its well worth the fee
