Default car wont start

Hi guys,

I'm new to S2k and just got it for a week, car was fine and I just took it our for a run before this happened. What happened was I also left the key in the start position but didn't start the car for about 5 mins as well. I took the key out and locked the car forgetting that the driver side's window was opened and forgot to close it when I tried to lock the car using a key fob. I pressed lock twice and I think i heard a beep from the car so I walked back to it then noticed the window was opened.

I noticed something is wrong so I tried to start the engine but it wouldn't start.

I can still lock the car using the remote control but when I press unlock first time it doesn't unlock the car, the indicator light is flashing that's all. When I press unlock the second time it now unlock the car.

when I put the key in and start it doens't start.

any help is appreciated!

turn on the ignition so all lights are on then press the 'immobilizer' button (the depressed one on the keyfob) then try the start button, should be good !

I think there is an auto time out of about 30 seconds of depressing the immobilizer and it 're-arms' the immobilizer again unless the car is started within that time frame ... something like that.

you should have a black fob with two rubber buttons. one indented, one raised. This is the immobiliser. (is for mine anyway)

If you push your drivers seat back is there a bulge in the carpet at the front of the seat, this is where the Hamilton Palmer immobiliser usually is situated. You may have the wrong keyfob.
