Another update on the issue:
So the car went back to the garage for another checkover to see if they could find the problem. This was after i had a look for said wire at the top of the page.
So after finding the wire, i also noticed the whole starter motor was loose, as i could move it with a screw driver when i was poking around.
I put this down the to when the clutch was done, and it not being tightened up properly on re-asembely.
I was sure this was the problem, so i let the garage know, they tighten it up, and also check over the starter motor wiring.
Get the car back the next day, and all is well for a few, as it was after the battery had been changed for a new one....
... Until last night, as i went to leave for work
Running out of patience and ideas now.
So check list so far has been:
Check fuses
Replace battery
Check over starter motor and wiring

Next up, i will let the garage know the problem is still there, after xmas now, as they are closed.
I will let them take another look at the car, and if they cant come up with something i will have to take the car elsewhere, and get a specialist to come out and take a look at the immobiliser system.

My immobiliser cut in when I was travelling at 70 down the motorway and shut down my engine, that was fun.... After I got it in the lay by I tried starting it and the engine would turn over but wouldn't fire. The circuit board on mine was fried.
If you suspect it to be the immobiliser in the slightest I would get it checked if I were you so nothing like the above happens.

ignition switch, take it to bits and clean.

If it does it again , put it in gear and rock the car so the engine turns ,then trying starting the car again , sometimes if starter sticking this will free it off .if that doesnt work could be the push start button,
