As J_B suggests, it seems your V5 will be configured for a pre March 2001 car and is going by engine size, which was actually £225 in 2013.

Any plate changes on your car? Anything dating before 2001?

Done well though and keep stumm!

Nothing I can see. According to V5 first registered 27 11 2006. Who knows but am keeping quite.

Not sure how the PO cashier could do that without knowing they'd done it though.
I renewed my car tax online through renewal letter so can't see how it can be wrong but am not complaining.

It could be an Import as the tax got messed up on a few, but i would remove the thread to save any future hassle

I believe it was bought in this country (November 2006) then exported to South Africa and returned to UK in 2008 (September 2008) so it is officially an import (and insured as one before anyone mentions it).

With regards to removing the thread I am unsure how to do this.

Since I am the second owner and have only been so for a year I don't believe I can be held accountable, assuming it is a "mistake"

Oooopppsss

Yeah it has a weird background story. I believe it was bought in this country (November 2006) then exported to South Africa and returned to UK in 2008 (September 2008) so it is officially an import and insured accordingly.
