Well I it sounds like getting a full fix is the way to go and would rather have peace of mind for that figure.
It will be with Chiswick Honda on Monday. Just as the weather improves

i wouldn't bother with Honda.. an aftermarket alarm will be better than the stuff they fit and a fitter will be cheaper too
