Thanks for all your help guys Ive only had the car a few days I live nr Bristol so Bed's a bit far, thanks for offer though. I think I will try and live with it for a bit and buy some tyres when I have some more cash.
Turned out the nearside/rear tyre had worn more than the rest, due to the rear lower wishbone rear bush adjustment bolt being seized and the offside/front caliper was stuck too.
Please read the FAQs though...it'll stop the grumpy old buggers getting on your back if you ask a question that has been answered several hundred times.

He has two different brands of tyres on the rear
It's not going to help, having odd rubber, but pulling like that can indeed also be badly wrong geometry.
If you dont want to travel, try powerstation in Glos.
They have good kit, get the settings from the FAQ and give it to them to dial in.
Have a read of this, click butgtons top right...

The car pulling in one direction on acceleration and the other on deceleration is the diff doing funny stuff due to the different rolling radius of the two rear wheels, is a common problem and unlikely to be due to the geo. .
The wheels having different rolling radius's is commonly caused by differing tyre pressures but can also be caused by mismatched rear tyres or one tyre having a lot more wear than the other.
Check your tyre pressures first and if they are the same look to change your rears to a matched pair.
