I only ordered them yesterday but I already can't wait for them. I reckon they are really going to sit well in the car, just hope I can also get the discount done retrospectively.
I was always a little suspicious of paying so much for mats , but the oe units really havent lasted at all and look so tatty , it was

Just bought some Muz mats myself, and no import duty ......very pleased with the quality too.
One thing - what's the deal with the anchor posts? I asked for the holes to be put in the mats, which they have been, then I collect my car (brand new) only to find there are no posts fitted! Not something I noticed when I picked the car up, but then who would?
Are they an 'optional extra' or something?

Don't get too smug - the demand for payment of handling and/or duty usually comes 2-3 weeks after the mats arrive. You're not out of the woods yet!

I think the anchor posts are only fitted if you have the car supplied with the OEM mats. You can buy them separately though - I know GSi bought a job lot of them a while back and sold them off on the board.

Try some heavy duty velcro tape from B&Q (stick the felt side to the OEM carpet and the hooks to the bottom of the mats). Worked for me and no need to cut the OEM carpets to fit the "posts".

sounds like a good idea
Velcro normally comes in two parts. The hooks and the fuzzy stuff. Did you stick the velcro hooks back to back with double sided tape?
If you're using Muz mats you only need the hook part, stick that to the floor (between the seat and cross-brace is a good place) and the hooks will stick to the mats. You don't really need the fuzzy side. This makes the mats easier to remove for cleaning, if you have both sides of the velcro attached it is so strong that it will pull the adhesive side off.

B&Q heavy duty stuff is ideal, that's what I used.
