Can you use the CCTV for evidence? If you had to get the police involved say, ive heard you have to have a small warning sign saying CCTV is situated in these premises to be able to use the footage. Or would you just use it to revenge the car that started it, more peace of mind than anything else. The reason I ask is because im thinking of doing this with my house too.... GOD I LOVE MY CAR!

the stuff about not being able to use CCTV for evidence is a myth-I think it has to be really clear cut though.

more importantly I'd hopefully get the reg-and if not I'd know who's car it was on the street. Can't do any harm

the police were happy to use her CCTV when my sister had a stalker in her garden

never heard any bs about having to warn stalkers either

her cctv was infra red and the quality was excellent

no problem identifying the stalker

next door neighbour

I'm not gonna sell the car-but I am gonna look into getting CCTV installed outside my house. Apparently you can get pretty discreet cameras that film on sensing motion
I've been thinking about getting this for a while now, but I've not seen one worth while.
If you find anything drop me a line.

Ta.

Group buy maybe?

PS, bad luck on the wing, and good luck catching the scrote.

Here is a good company, same one I bought my bullets cams from for my car. Give them a ring and they should be able to help out with a cheap CCTV install. Speak to Roy.

That is so annoying.

It happened to my BRG MX-5 after I'd had it two weeks. Fortunately a passer by (turned out to be one of the guys at the accountants' tea party that I was attending!) got the reg. and left a note.

Poor Moggy!

Don't sell it - you can't see the damage from the driving seat, so just keep on driving.

Moggy, Springfield did an almost identical dent in my first S between me buying and collecting it. That dent popped out no problem - I got the car back within 2 hours.

Good luck
