Dunlops (esp. the SP Response) have a very stiff sidewall and I believe they're grossly underrated as a Honda tyre.
I have nothing but praise for the Dunlop SP's. I push my car alot and it sticks like **** to a blanket in the corners.
This is why im wondering whether to just stick with these on the ring??

I'm thinking of trying Dunlops next (still on 16s). Currently still have S02s on front (just getting to the end of their short lives), and RE050As on back. I don't really have any major complaints about this combo, although as a relatively new owner I'm still not really pushing the car hard, especially on the uneven surfaces of most roads around here (N. Somerset).
Had good experience with Dunlops before, admittedly on a lesser car (Civic LSi) - good grip / wear compromise.

My T1R's are on 17" rims, went 225 at the front with 245 at the rear. Maybe I had a bad set of Re050's but I'm really happy with the car today. Big smilies all round (and a sunburnt baldeee heed, ouch!).

RE050s.
Toyos and RE050As will destabilizer the thing and make it feel like a MK4 Cortina.

After the British MK1 & 2, how could one ever forget what an abortion's breakfast the Germans made of locating the rear axle on the TC models? One could get the car responding in exactly the opposite direction to the turn of the wheel by suilding the oscillation.
I think it's probably the most dangerous car I've driven. One could place it within about a foot of where one wanted to go and a bump could throw it another foot either way.
Appallingly bad.

Sorry to throw another spanner into the works, but wasn't someone on here raving on about Falkens?
I have 225 16" F1's on the back of my car. Once upto temp, they seem great offering good grip/traction.
Eagle F1's have always been the same though.
Oh, they're at 36psi, as they did feel a little soggy at 30.
Great now though

The more I push the RE050s, the more I love them.
Car feels like a sort of cross between an S2000 and a pre-bubble facelift NSX, if that makes sense.
That's of utterly no help to the confirned 16"ers, but I wanted to say it anyway.
