Can't see why not.

I could have put 255's on my Blitz rears and they are 8" which is what stock are IIRC.

Stock rear is 7.5" wide - a bit narrow for a 255 IMHO. I wouldn't go past 245/45/R16, unless you change wheel width and diameter.
