Just bought a S2K with 113k ont clock. Thinking how I can best ensure its longevity.

Wait till it pops then by a second hand engine.

That's the best you can hope for.

Until then don't over rev it and keep the oil topped up!

I was looking into this because I was going to do it.

New rings, new main bearings, new rod bearings, new cam chain and guide, new oil pump, new oil pump chain, new rods, crank grind, knife edge, and balance, valve guides, valve stem seals, reassembly. I was looking at £3k for that lot. If you buy Honda bearings expect it to be a LOT more

If the bores aren't scored, you DON'T NEED TO TOUCH THEM!
