When you say rebuild the engine, what is it that you want doing? It can be as simple as checking/replacing the bearings or as complicated as pulling it all to pieces and bluprinting it.

Quite often it's cheaper to buy a new engine depending on how bad it is.

I presume it's the bearings that give way.

Typically, anyone know a ball park figure of how much it would cost to change the bearings Inc labour?

Just bought a S2K with 113k ont clock. Thinking how I can best ensure its longevity.

Sorry to hi-jack thread.

Wherever you go, make sure you do your research and google them etc first. I sent my first 'S to a load of cowboys who needed 2 or 3 go's till they got it right and I got a 9 month lesson in how small claims court works!

Rebuilding any Honda engine seems to be an art in itself. They are not the best engines in the world for no reason!
