It's probably like the cracking R18 blocks in the US; it happens, but relatively to so few, Honda simply pays up when one goes.

pretty sure I've seen the same thing reported on here before, possibly on the US side of the board,

And we all know how Honda have had to up a fair few of their torque ratings too.

Not a huuuuuge amount; looks like my supposition might well be correct; it's not the nut on the stud, it's the monkey knut on the torque wrench!
