Not sure I like the sound of that, so I'm going to suggest the Rupert Brooke in Granchester - just outside Cambridge and easy access from the M11. Went to check it out on Sunday and it was OK. Let me know if this is good with you guys and I'll edit the top post with details in case anyone else want to come along.

baptistsan - would be keen to check out these places after the roadworks have gone

what about the services on the M11 near stansted airport!! Loads of car park room plus I know where that is!!!!!!!!!!

This pub is only 1.1 miles away from junction 12 of the M11. Does anyone know how far from Stanstead airport this junction is?
