Okay cancel everything I said about the pub, went on a recce this afternoon and it has turned into a right dive.
Alternatives are The Bell or The Cock, both in the village of Kentford just the other side of Newmarket. The Cock has the better carpark. Am happy to try any alternative suggestions from you guys. Sorry that the initial place has turned out to be not quite how I remembered it!
Am happy to meet up with everyone at the carpark on Newmarket road (Comet & Office world) Cambridge and lead a gentle convey to one of these two watering holes. Let me know.

Yeah there are some roadworks on the A14 flyover! Hidden dips which could take off someones nice new lip, and the amount of roadkill I saw this pm, bloody hell!
