thats what i'll be doing once i paid off a few bills 
bought a replacement caliper, but still have the old one.
i'll repair it myself and flog it on ebay/here...
the fact is that the places i'd of got parts from all require a car (or the day travelling via bus) - which i dont have since the s2k is off the road.
rebuild was considered as an option, but too much hastle if things went wrong.
