I don't think my torque wrench goes that low. I always just use a spanner.

Again, don't take the torque rating as gospel because it is too low.
I always add a minimum of 15% to Honda values.
Oh, and always use threadlock on your brake bolts.

Thanks Ste_Nova for the diagram. Its definately number 16 on there that i need. Dembo it was the bolt that let go as in it snapped off. I was only hand tightening but maybe being on the cautious side wanted to give it a few extra turns.

I called my nearest Honda dealer at Aylesbury and explained my unfortunate incident with the bolt snapping, after the nice chap had picked himself up from laughing so much, he said he would give me a call back. The good news is he called back to say he can get me one for tomorrow, for 4 quid. Woohoo!
