Hi Chris from FD2 and ITR DC5 Forum might I suggest buying cars from on here? There's a lightly modded 04 for 12k that appears to be excellent value

Or one of those 16,500k FD2s ?
The one and only

I am looking mate, trust me, but need to speak to my insurance company first.

[QUOTE=Matts2000,Jun 27 2008, 07:45 PM] Couple of new points from me;

I would like to understand in what context Sean Horsey is posting on here and in what context people are taking what he says. Here's some facts;

The web domain name www.s2000-4u.co.uk is registered to Sean Horsey but it's listed as "The registrant is a non-trading individual who has opted to have their address omitted from the WHOIS service".

The current operational business is Sports & Prestige of Four Marks Limited. The only Director listed is Dominic Waterman and the Company Secretary Charlotte Billimgton (maybe a spelling mistake at Companies House there). Sean Horsey is not registered as an Officer of the Company at all, although he may be a shareholder, or major shareholder or, indeed, own all of the shares but I wonder why he didn't appoint himself as a Director if he is a (major) shareholder.

This company was registered on 9th August 2006 and has not yet submitted any accounts - the accounts should have been submitted by 9th June 2008 but they're overdue. That'll be a

I have recently bought an S2000 from the guys at S20004U and I found the level of service to be top-notch. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. I was treated as a valued customer, I had no problem with a test-drive and after two or so hours I was driving home (the long way round he he) in a car that made me laugh with glee. Fabulous! Obviously, as with any second hand purchase, do your homework and use common sense and you can't go far wrong.

I looked through all the posts regarding S20004U (for obvious reasons) before making a purchase from them. It's been a couple of months since and i was very happy with the service I received. I feel it's always good to have as much feedback as possible on posts such as these, good and bad. I feel it enables as an informed choice as possible.

Thanks for your post SHredder

It's good to have balanced feedback. Fact is people who are unhappy vent more.

What I have found is extremes, people who are happy are happy, those who are not, get shit service when trying to get issues resolved.

So if the customer is happy, great, if not, they don't seem to fix things (in my experience and with what has been posted and told to me)

Yes, i'm well aware of the 'unhappy vent more' scenario as I run a business. I can't really comment as i fall into the 'happy happy' category. All I can say is, customer relations are very important, if things go wrong, I tend to find that if you right the wrong asap then you'll still have a loyal customer on your hands and one that will recommend you.

That is so true:

In the late 1990s, Jaguar & Rover (Sterling) both sold their cars in the USA.

They were unreliable crap.

Jaguar treated their customers so well, their reputation in JD Power was actually better than if the cars had been any good!

Rover treated theirs like knuts. Their entire brand was soon sent to Guantanamo bay, never to be seen again.

And the moral of the parable...
