Not bought yet but I've to see him, got a good selection of cars and was much nicer to deal with than the local main stealers I've met. I will be buying from him soon unless the right car pops up on here.

Cut and pasted from my recent "It's gone...." thread, regarding my own experience in selling to S20004U:
I know S20004U has had a mixed press on here but this particular transaction went smoothly. Sean Horsey e-mailed an offer for the car within an hour of the ad going up in the PH classifieds and sent me a cheque for the

we looked at a couple of cars at s20004u before we bought Nancy's from a user on here.
he was helpful, friendly and open
He had a wide variety of cars on show and was happy for us to drive the ones we were interested in.
none of them really fitted what Nancy wanted so we asked what was in the pipeline (she wanted an Ascari with black leather rev2 with under 50k for less than 15k) he said he had something coming in in a weeks time that was exactly that. we put a deposit (

Ah the old 'non-refundable deposit' gag
A few others have had issues with that as well I seem to recall
It sounds like he's tidied up his act in the last year or so due to bad press and I won't bad-mouth him further as it isn't adding anything to the discussion. It's just important that people are aware of what has happened to others I think.

New Poster here, thought I would contribute my experiences so far regarding S2000-4U.
I've been looking for a rev.2 s2000 for a while, and sure enough one popped up on the s2000-4U website not long ago that looked just perfect.
I called s2000-4U Sunday past and organised a test drive for the Monday, which went ahead as planned. I met both Sean and also Paul and found them both polite and friendly.
I've now put down a deposit on a Berlina 2002, and having read the reports on this board I have organised for a full DEKRA inspection which should be complete by the end of today.
Provided nothing untoward is detected regarding the vehicle I should
be able to complete the transaction this weekend.
So far I've no complaints with s2000-4U - I'll post here again with an update.
