How much money are you prepared to lose to sell it to them instead of privately?

Definitely time for a FAQ entry now...
Why

I don't think this is a technical issue, and I'm not going to put my name to comments that vary so much when I have no experience of the company.

Dealer Satisfaction survey might be more worthwhile, but only if people who have used them want to submit their comments.

16.5k, I assume that's more than Honda would offer you? Considering this guy will have to sell it on at a profit it's not a bad price, as long as he doesn't try and knock you down further which he may well do. I should think he'll give you a price on the phone and then try to pick fault with the car to knock another

[QUOTE=Bingo-a-go-go,Aug 9 2005, 10:18 AM] Yeah, I mean the fact that he's a good businessman and has made loads of money is disgraceful.

He should pay himself a basic salary, just enough to live on, and pass the savings back to his customers.....

I take it this is the Communist philosophy you follow, driving around in a

He told me by phone that he would send down a driver with a bankers draft and not 'kick the tyres and offer me less'. I agree with Bassoctopus that second hand views can be wrong... but thought if anyone knew someone who sold a car to them and it was a smooth transaction, for the sake of

Thanks for all the help... will be seeing other buyer later today and fingers crossed will sell to him, but if not will ring sean, clarify situation and hopefully sell the car. It will be a VERY sad day, but really need the cash. Hopefully will buy another one next spring/summer. May even go for a softer 2004!

It has been a while since I have looked at the forum. One thing keeps jumping out at me; everybody who cares to put a comment on here, that has actually purchased a car through s2000 4U, have positive comments.

I have previously mentioned that I sell oni average 30 quality S2000s a month of which only 2-5% of my buyers either
A) Know about this forum
B) Feel the need to add a comment.

It is also very apparant that the people who feel the need to tarnish my company, have not actually purchased a vehicle or indeed had any dealings with the company.

Previous comments from me regarding 'clocking' have been answered, but to reiterate I have never sold a car that has been clocked and every single mileage on every one of my S2000s is exactly the same as how I purchased it.

For the audience that are interested in buying S2000s that use this forum to get advice. My only advice to them; is read every page, analyse the genuine people whom have purchased cars from me. Note not one had suggested that they wish they had not. Then, come and view my selection, which costs you nothing, then make up your own mind. Only yesterday one of my customers did just that, and drove off in a beautiful 2 owner, 39,000 FHSH S2000. I am sure his comments will come on in due course. I agree with Bassoctopuss and would welcome the Survey he recommends

Commercial posting is not allowed here, please read the forum posting guidelines

Why don't you work with us and send the 30 odd people a month you sell to, over to the forum, and to the Owners club?

Your profile is showing you as located in the USA - perhaps you should change that? (Hit MyS2K at the top and Edit your profile)

PS: you might want to spell check your listings on your site too
