hi chris thanks for your possitive comments it is good to note that all of my customers that have purchased on here have possitive comments when people suggest you /or a related company have done something you have not ie clocking one will always go on the defensive i will not except defermation .
when you sell as many S2000;S as i do sure it would be a pleasure to work with the owners club and indeed many of my customers could benefit from this club interesting point i purchased a new x5 after 12 months 14 dealer visits for mechanical issues 6 weeks off the road they exchanged it the point i am trying to make is i could have shouted and screamed gave bmw bad press but it would not have got me anywhere every dealer in the land has someone with a horror story i have sold 100;s of cars over the years and probably 95% of my customers are happy
5% you can never keep happy and boy do they like to be heard i sell quality S2000;S i buy quality S2000;S if you want to sell one call me this is a free forum for freedom of speech i keep making that point clear but my genuine buyers all make there own minds up as seen by chris mckenna;s post it would be a pleasure to work with s2ki on any related S2000 issue as one thing we can all agree with what a car.

Can you tell us about the previous companies that you have run and what if any issues you have had? Have you been a director of these previous companies and have you ever had to close them down because of legal issues etc?

Just my twopennorth worth:
I live fairly local to both Fourmarks and South Warnborough and have 'heard' of stories related to the Fourmarks site. I have also personally visited the Oakhill site at South Warnborough although I wasnt tempted as I was looking to part exchange but managed to sell my car privately and buy a new S2. The forecourt held a number of s2000's as well as a mix of Merc SLK's etc. The mix seemed to be sourced from cheaper end trade in / fleet sales etc.
Personally speaking the stories heard about Fourmarks weren't complimentary and came from a close family friend.
There also seems to be a common theme here regarding previously concentrating on Celicas and now concentrating on niche market s2000's.
Bottom line is you are going to be at risk wherever you buy a second hand car especially outside of warranty. The main thing is to research the history of the car to find who and how it was owned.
IMHO you can't beat looking at the members who post on this site for a 'recommended' and 'looked after' vehicle as the majority of enthusiasts who post are as passionate about the upkeep of their car as well as the driving experience. There may be a premium cost over a private trader's but at least you have security on the catalogued ownership.
If however you are looking for a better value (cheaper) vehicle you would do as well as look on ebay where it is apparent that Oakhill has sourced a lot of their cars.
Finally regarding leopards changing their spots etc I would recommend Oakhill / Sean arranges an open day for people to speak frankly and view first hand his stock of S2000's as it is in his / their interest to respond to constructive advice from this board as he / they could do very well from specialising in this vehicle and supporting the enthusiasts both the forum and the individuals that sign on the forum. I would be happy to attend to give first hand report on their current set up.
