Couple of things... The ASA will be regulating internet advertisements in the near future, it's not realy up and running with this yet. But it doesn't hurt to complain to them and the local Trading Standards office if you would like. It will bring them to the attention of some beurocrats that are about to get laid off and may be looking for something to justify their existance.
Review websites are a tricky thing. Business owners can insist that bad reveiws are removed unless they can be completely substantiated or they can hold both the poster and the website liable for libel. One of the wonderful things about the English law system is that anyone can sue anyone from anywhere in the world for libel. It's easier for some review websites to simply remove postings that business owners complain about then deal with the threat of letters from solicitors.
Frankly, I'm surprised there aren't more cases of libel resulting from internet postings in this country...

Thankfully, forums are the last bastion of free speech relatively free of law-whores and authoritarian oppressors.
Indeed, it's one of the few places such despots can be held to account.

Mate haven't you heard of the Small Claims track (courts)? Your case is clear cut. Do it online, only costs £100. Which you will get back. Even if they resist if they are a Ltd Co they can't move it to their local court just to inconvenience you.

I've only just seen this thread, and haven't read through the whole thing, so excuse me if this might have been mentioned before. If it's the same place I'm thinking of, I went there a couple of years ago, before I got my S2000, just wanted to see what they had available. I'd seen them advertising on eBay, where they were also advertising a Maserati GranTurismo for sale. Anyway, goes and has a look at the S2000s and a very nice looking BMW M5, we were approached by a salesman, seemed a friendly chap. Eventually my dad asked about the Maserati (not that either of us could afford it), only to be told it was the salesmans own car and wasn't actually for sale...
Dodgy much?
