Buying an S
Areeet chaps?
Im currently looking to buy an s2k and have a couple of questions.
I have a budget of 7 grand, Im tore between spending the full whack on a nice clean low millage AP1 or buying an old high millage one and saving some cash. How reliable are the older cars?
Most of the cars I can find for 5 grand have over 100k on them now. Are these engines as good as the k20s in the type r's? My ep3 civic went forever!!
Really looking forward to getting an s2000, pretty exited, anything to look out for? Especially on the older models?

Hay there, I just got mine.
2003 with 93k on the clock for five and a half.
You will not be disappointed. Nothing about my car says its done 93k

mileage isn't always the best indicator of a "good" or "bad" car. high mileage is fine as long as there are plenty of stamps from a renowned service centre.
quite a few people have got S2000s with 100k plus and are still going.
