Bumper respray advice
Hello all.
Having bought a nice MY06 Berlina Black recently, I'm starting to look at the various cosmetic bits that need sorting out, one of which is the usual scrapes and stone chipping to the front bumper. I think the best way to sort it out properly is to have the whole bumper resprayed.
Can anyone recommend a good bodyshop in Devon or Somerset that would do a proper job on a Berlina bumper respray ? How much should I be looking at for a job like this ?

Not sure about bodyshops in your area
but with regards to price I'd expect between £200-300 depending on if any repares were needed. I've just paid a friend £150 to have a brand new bumper painted but for that I'll be fitting it.

I always use Brin Jones in Filton, but thats a heck of a trip from you though.
Rodgman & Williams in Plymouth if you are down that way, still have a good rep.
A proper remove and spray/refit job will indeed be around £350.
At least the paint is easier to match than some Xirallics.
You bought a gay hairdressers car at last, about bloody time

+1 for Rodgman and Williams.
Had mine repaired there a couple of months ago after being rear-ended. Also had a front splitter sprayed and fitted at the same time. Colour match was spot on and the company as a whole came across as being very professional.
Can't imagine them being cheap for private jobs though.

Hi Nige,
Cleared those drain holes yet?
There was a resent thread on Resprays with all sorts of recommendations:
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...post&p=18544998
That link takes you to the thread and then there's a link to a company in Wales that did a very good job on one of the members cars. Not the nearest to you but If nothing else it's a good read.

If you are in the Plymouth area I can highly recommend Fine Finish in Valley Road, Plympton.
He does an excellent job at a good price, a lot of the trade use him too.
I would estimate about £200 to paint a removed bumper which is what I paid to have a 2006 A3 bumper finished.
