I broke down yesterday and under inspection it seems that the driveshaft has come away from the diff joint? im not too sure if its the actual shaft or the actual joint that needs replacing. ive attached a link to show u exactly what i am talking about. Could someone please point me in the right direction? The cup joint is loose due to me unscrewing it from the diff. It seems ok till you get to the actual shaft itself. I felt the teeth of the shaft when i put my finger in the joint boot.

have you changed diff oil recently? usually a spat out joint is due to a failed diff.

So basically the CV joint has collapsed? I'm not really sure what has caused it but if it's a n/s driveshaft I have one for sale if you're interested.
