No surprising that most of them are in the Midlands/North Midlands.

Bloody Wales has been left out again - we obviously don't exist!

One of those pieces of totally useless information, (like the Borgward 4M1,5 and the Honda D15 sharing the same bore x stroke dimensions.)

Unless, of course, they look at the reasons why all these bikers get splatted (bad junctions, etc) and tell us how they're gonna improve them.

Lloyd, That A44 is a great road for the S. Some great corners and a few overtaking straights. My Scamera detector found all the 'mobile sites' well too. One of the best drives I've had round there was Brecon to Worcester via Hereford and Malvern.

Saw this in the paper as well; it also mentions that the Macclesfield to Buxton road has a high number of squashed motorcyclists.

I used to live in Congleton and can understand why all roads to Buxton are unhealthy - they are bloody fantastic to drive, twisties/ups and downs through great countryside. I can quite see why bikers go there; but also that these roads are unforgiving as they can be narrow and will soon find out if your ambition outweighs your abilities.

I haven't been along them since I bought the S2000 but they would be perfect for it - as long as the weather was dry!

I moved to Congleton last December and drove the A54 to Buxton (and the A53 down towards Leek, which is also on the list) for the first time a couple of weekends back. Some bloody amazing roads but I can see that you could come seriously unstuck if you overegged it.
