Default Bristol Cars.. Celebrating 60 years

How on earth have these guys remained in business all these years? It amazes me! Take a look at the options. Great to see a British company still going strong but with these designs I am astounded!

if you have half a dozen employees, 2 cars a year would be enough to keep ticking over I'd guess.

That's what I was thinking. Jag front wings too. Design looks a right mess, although the fighter is a 'bit' better.

Strikes me that people buy them PURELY to be different or to have a 'rare' car. However, you can achieve the same affect with any number of kit cars. Don't see what Bristol offer over kit cars apart from 'badge' and 'prestige'.

As far as I am aware they still have a connection with the city of Bristol too, although I seem to recall that the location of their factory is supposed to be a secret??

It's up in Filton near the Aerospace site - no secret but don't expect to turn up and be given a factory tour by Tony Crook, the owner.

Could imagine the tour though Here's the jag we're re-bodiying, here's the capri we're trying to make it look like, and here's the engine we found lying about at the scrappy
