Default Brief news about Imports from Cyprus

Apparently all the imports from Cyprus are annoying Honda somewhat and the Eurpoean Director for Honda has not been happy with these people undercutting the market.

When he heard they were underselling Honda UK by an average of 20% he has decreed that all Cyrpus S2k prices must go up by 20%.

Heard this from a dealership so the legitmacy of it is at question however the chap did name the Eur Director by name and seemed to know what he was talking about.

You decide but it could explain why Hondas UK and BG are having a little bit of difficulty sourcing cars at the mo. (or so I am led to believe from the boards)

Is that like the dealer who told not to buy an EU import under any circumstances, and then sold me one?

As I didn't say, oops, I was sceptical, but hey, who knows. I mean it's not like the people have an interest in sales or anything so I thought it was genuine.

I thought price fixing like that was not only illegal but against EU regulations as well?

On certain products it seems mikey

Restricting supply might not necessarily be price fixing, although i fail to see the justification of the former, without the need to do the latter
